Image of SCP-9449 captured before containment
Item #: 9449
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Under no circumstances is SCP-9449 to expose both hands simultaneously. SCP-9449 is to remain equipped with articulated locking gauntlets at all times; removal of these devices requires dual authorization from both Senior Researcher Klein and Senior Researcher Siksek.
SCP-9449 is to be housed in a ground-floor or subterranean habitation and denied access to all edged implements.
Description: SCP-9449 is William Park, an American male demonstrating ectoentropic reality-bending traits. By maintaining physical contact with an object and focusing on a possible alternative timeline, SCP-9449 produces a persistent duplicate corresponding to the selected counterfactual state of that object.
Discovery: Foundation assets were alerted to a suburban neighbourhood in Spokane, Washington, after local reports documented an atypically large and persistent congregation of turkey vultures. Together with anomalous purchasing activity associated with the residence, and repeated neighbourhood complaints of late-night disturbances, these reports prompted a covert investigation.
At the time of containment, SCP-9449 was a 27-year-old, living in a property titled to his father, who resided with him. SCP-9449 was not in full-time employment and had been working as a freelance high-school tutor for approximately eighteen months. Following a search of the premises and confirmation of anomalous indicators, Foundation operatives detained SCP-9449 and administered amnestics to the father.
