Special containment Procedures: SCP-9565 is to be kept in a concrete room located inside of Site-17. Containment walls are decorated and furnished with objects SCP-9565 has requested, including multiple French mahogany-stained hardwood furniture pieces, rococo-style floral wallpaper, an antique brass lamp, and much more in the same style.
SCP-9565 is currently contained in a special humanoid chamber located deep inside of Site-17, due to breach of containment. The walls are constructed with 3 metre thick concrete to help prevent the reshaping of the containment cell.
In place of a possible breach attempt or if hostile, the containment chamber is flooded with aerosolised sedatives to sedate it. In the event that these systems fail, under no circumstances is SCP-9565 to be made contact with. Contact with the anomaly will result in immediate termination
Description: SCP-9565 is a humanoid male of large build, resembling a stereotypical lumberjack in appearance, with flat brown hair with white strands. The humanoid usually wears a dark green t-shirt and jeans, as requested by the anomaly D-class jumpsuit, identifying to personnel not to approach the anomaly unless permitted by the head researcher, Doctor Filip Boros, or the 05 council.
SCP-9565 possesses the ability to anomalously restructure both animate and inanimate matter through direct contact. With the contact of SCP-9565's palm, the object is disfigured or turned into a different object and, in cases of living experiments, terminated. Current evidence suggests SCP-9565 possesses limited influence over the outcome of transformations, though activation itself appears difficult for the subject to fully suppress. Observed transformations have not exceeded an approximate radius of 15 meters from the initial point of contact.
SCP-9565 has been permitted to have the subclass thaumiel, after understanding the needs of foundation members. Leading to most of its security around the containment cell lifted.Prior to Breach-9565-01, internal discussions regarding potential Thaumiel reclassification had been terminated due to SCP-9565’s mental state.
Recovery: SCP-9565 was located in Fife, Scotland. The anomaly was located after the "awakening" of his anomalous capabilities. Before this, the anomaly was attending a family reunion. When his capabilities were awakened; the anomaly reshaped his mother into a unrecognizable biological mass, accidentally killed off other family members, and reshaped kitchen furniture (resembling the ones inside his cell that had been requested) and disrupted the neighbours that were outside during the time. Foundation personnel interfered with this when a family member, identified as a male relative, had attempted to call the police while telling them all that had happened during the reunion. When the personnel had arrived at the scene, SCP-9565 was sitting on the kitchen floor, crying. The personnel had told the anomaly that they were the local police going to be picking him up, There was no resistance towards the foundation because, quote on quote, "I deserve this for what I have done". All at the scene were given amnesties, and other family members were killed, and the house was burned as a cover-up.
Addendum-9565-01: Following the retrieval
Dr. Filip Boros has been appointed head researcher for SCP-9565, to conduct experiments and to potentially weaponise SCP-9565. This was on request by the 05 Council for SCP-9565 to join MTF Alpha-9 (“Last Hope”) regarding SCP-9565’s potential Thaumiel application.

SCP-9565: Is that what your going to be calling me from now.
Dr. Boros: For our purposes, yes.
[SCP-9565 leans back in the chair]
SCP-9565: And I'm guessing you already know my name.
Dr. Boros: We make it our business to know such things. Back to what I was saying, my name is Dr. Boros, my team and I will be here to keep you "company".
[SCP-9565 sighs]
SCP-9565: I knew enough.
Dr. Boros: Well, before we let you off to your [Slight pause] new living quarters, I am here to ask questions about you.
[SCP-9565 tilts his head with a dead expression]
SCP-9565: Ask on ahead if you have to…
Dr. Boros: You know why you’re here I believe.
SCP-9565: Well, I've only gotten my… powers, today. All I know is.. [SCP-9565 stares blankly at the table] I… I can reshape things
Dr. Boros: When you say things, you mean objects or?
SCP-9565: People. Objects. Everything I touch… even when I don’t want to.
[Dr. Boros watches him for several seconds before writing something down]
Dr. Boros: And can you control this?
SCP-9565: I don't know.
Dr. Boros: Show me.
[SCP-9565 makes contact with the handcuffs. The restraints deform and convert into a strip of woven fabric within 0.8 seconds.]
[Dr. Boros writes something down]
Dr. Boros: [Under his breath] Intresting
SCP-9565: Not even surprised?
Dr. Boros: Surprise is rarely… useful here.
[SCP-9565 looks down at his hands]
SCP-9565: I didn't want this.
Dr. Boros: Few anomalies do.
SCP-9565: Do not call me that.
Dr. Boros: Then give me a reason not to.

**SCP-9565:**I… dont know, people just get hurt around me
Dr. Boros: Including your mother?

SCP-9565: …Y-Yeah
Dr. Boros: I see.
[Dr. boros closes a folder]
Dr. Boros: if your abilities prove manageable, the Foundation may have use for you
SCP-9565: Use me how?
Dr. Boros: Containment. Field work. Situations where people like you are necessary.
SCP-9565: So I become one of you.
Dr. Boros: You become useful.
[SCP-9565 gives a weak laugh]
SCP-9565: And if I say no?
Dr. Boros: You stay here.
[Silence]
Dr. Boros: Cooperate with us, and we'll study the condition. If there's a way to suppress it, remove it, or make it safe, we'll find it. That's more than most people in your position get.

The Object was placed inside SCP-9565's containment cell.
Results
SCP-9565 showed zero interest in the brick for the first 15 minutes of the experiment. SCP-9565 remained seated on the floor, exhibiting signs of distress (audible sobbing, lack of movement)
Eventually, it picks up the brick. The object was subsequently reshaped upon contact into a ceramic pot. SCP-9565 immediately threw the object across the chamber, shattering it.
Note: SCP-9565 did not display any indication of intentional activation of the anomalous capability prior to contact.

The test object was introduced into SCP-9565’s containment chamber. Subject was instructed to pick up the object.
Results
SCP-9565 initially hesitated to approach the object, maintaining distance for approximately 20 seconds.
SCP-9565: Why are you giving me this?
Dr. Boros (over intercom): Please proceed with the test.
SCP-9565 eventually made contact with the firearm. Upon contact, the object immediately deformed and reconstituted into a pair of standard steel scissors. Transformation occurred in less than 1 second.
No discharge of the firearm was observed prior to or during the transformation. Internal components, including ammunition, were no longer present following the reshaping.
SCP-9565 dropped the object immediately after transformation.
SCP-9565: I didn’t mean to… I didn’t even…
[Subject displayed visible distress. Breathing became irregular.]
Dr. Boros: Remain calm. Continue holding the object.
SCP-9565 did not comply and moved away from the object.
Note: Transformation appears to override both mechanical state and internal contents of the object instantaneously. Further testing required to determine limitations.

SCP-9565: Oh, not much. I miss them all, you know. Do you think they will ever forgive me for what I've done?
Dr. Boros: That is… not our primary concern. Our focus is ensuring no further harm occurs.
SCP-9565: So why are you here? You said… I could help, right? That I wouldn’t have to be like this?
Dr. Boros: One question at a time, Mr. Stewart. Regarding your first question, since we want our future star to be comfortable instead living in this [Looks around] "Blank canvas". Do you want any furniture or just anything you would like in general, Mr. Stewart? For your benefit, of course.
SCP-9565: [SCP-9565 avoids eye contact] If it’s allowed… I’d like it to feel like my old home.
Dr. Boros: Of course. Familiar environments tend to improve cooperation.

Dr. Boros Regarding this, you want the room to be furnished like your old house? Yes?
SCP-9565: Hopefully, yea. My mother chose most of it…

[Dr. Boros glares at Dr. linton, signalling for him to stop talking]
Dr. Boros: So, Mr. Stewart, we soon will be conducting tests involving Class- [Clears throat] "Individuals assigned to assist in testing" so I am here to inform you of this, so don't be startled.
SCP-9565: …You’re going to have me use it on people?
Dr. Boros: We will be observing your interaction with test subjects, yes.
[SCP-9565 nods solemnly]
Dr. Boros: We will begin preparations immediately. I trust you will remain cooperative. We will ensure everything is… structurally safe.

I fully believe SCP-9565 shouldn't be doing humanoid testing this early on, especially noticing that there has been a noticeable decline in mental state since initial procedures began. We should be informing the ethics committee, but he keeps on telling me not to or I'll be sacked.
Addendum-9565-02: Humanoid Testing Summary
Following the initial testing with inanimate objects, SCP-9565 was approved for interaction with living object's, mostly consisting of D-Class personnel. This is to further assess the ideal plan of weaponising SCP-9565.

SCP-9565 did not immediately comply with the instruction, remaining stationary at the otherside of the containment cell
After much hesitation and negotiation from SCP-9565, it eventually obliged with the task, making contact with D-8456. Upon contact with the subject's right forearm, a localised transformation occurred. The affected area was subsequently turned into solid concrete.
Contact only lasted for 2 seconds before D-8456 reacted with distress, attempting to pull away from SCP-9565. This caused SCP-9565 to withdraw, observed actions: stepping back, avoiding interaction.
Notes:
- Result differs from prior transformations, which have typically produced organic or crafted materials (e.g., wood, ceramic).
- Variation suggests SCP-9565 may possess limited influence over reshaping outcomes, or that results are influenced by psychological state.

SCP-9565 was instructed to maintain contact with the subject until full-body reshaping was achieved.
Results
SCP-9565 did not approach the subject following instruction and initially refused to comply with Dr. Boros’s directive.
SCP-9565 remained stationary for approximately 1 minute before approaching the subject. Movement was slow and visibly hesitant.
SCP-9565 placed its hand on D-8456’s chest. Initial transformation began at the point of contact, converting the affected area into a dense, concrete-like material.
Unlike previous tests, SCP-9565 did not immediately withdraw contact. Transformation progressed at an accelerated rate compared to prior observations, extending across the subject’s torso and left arm within seconds.
D-8456 displayed visible distress during the early stages of transformation before becoming unresponsive. SCP-9565 exhibited multiple signs of distress throughout the procedure, including trembling and irregular breathing.
At the conclusion of the test, approximately 90% of the subject’s body had been transformed into a solid concrete structure.
Notes:
-Following the conclusion of the test, SCP-9565 questioned Dr. Boros regarding the purpose of the procedure, specifically asking how the results would contribute to a “cure.” After a brief explanation was provided, SCP-9565 did not appear satisfied and refused further communication for an extended period.

Dr. Boros: Understanding the anomaly is the first step toward controlling it.
