Description: SCP-9960 is a parasitic cognitive entity capable of gradually inhabiting the consciousness of human subjects. SCP-9960 demonstrates a preference for individuals occupying positions of significant influence.
Observed hosts include: Heads of State, Corporate Executives, Military Officials, Celebrities, Religious Leaders, Financial Authorities.
SCP-9960 appears capable of inhabiting only one individual at a time. Habitation periods range between 3 and 5 months before spontaneous departure occurs. The criteria governing host selection and departure, and its mechanisms, remain unknown.
Early-stage infection is typically asymptomatic, as habitation progresses, subjects begin exhibiting substantial behavioral and neurological abnormalities.
